Spicy Viking Romance
The first book in the Bound and Betrothed series deposits 6 Viking warriors onto a small island inhabited only by women.
Eldberg awakens and finds himself tied to a bed where he is attended to by a strange woman. What follows is an interesting tale that turns initial hate into a fragile friendship.
A nicely written story that kicks off the series. Narration on the audio book was excellent

it is vikings what more could you want.
I have never read or listened to a book by Felicity Brandon or Anna Quinn before so this is my first experience of their writing.
I have to say I did enjoy it very much, for some strange reason I have never read a viking romance before and what a great introduction to them this was.
This audiobook is
Narrated by Gareth J Davis..a New voice actor to me and he was brilliant..he changed his voice to accomodate each character and the accents were amazing it made the listening experience so much better.I thoroughly enjoyed his performance.
The sound effects were a great touch too.
Eldberg and his men were shipwrecked landing unconscience on the shores of an Island full of women and children..The men of the Island missing.
Eldberg is tied to a bed and is at the mercy of one woman.
Hedda resents all men thinking they are just like her husband who was cruel..She was now her own woman and enjoyed her freedom..Now she was being forced to watch over one of the men washed up on their shores...So she took her bitterness out on her captor Eldberg, and she was going to have some fun and some control of power over him.
She teased and tortured him with her body tempting him and used him for her own pleasure not his...but Hedda wasn't expecting to fall in love with this stranger.
This is a very good story and a fantastic audiobook,I loved listening to it and thought the storyline was very interesting.
The steamy and erotic encounter between Eldberg and Hedda leaving you wondering what will happen between these two people...because they are both quite dominant and want the power over the other.
Their chemistry is electric and they can't seem to stop wanting eachother much to Hedda's dismay and to Eldbergs confusion.
Tamed By The Viking is a well thought out story from Felicity and Anna and I enjoyed listening to this book,a great start to an intriguing series.
loved it.

Different aspect
This book is fascinating, I’ve read/listened to lots of book where the female is in peril but never the male. It’s a fantastic storyline and I’m intrigued to see how the rest of the series pans out. A brilliant performance.

Promising first in a new series! 💜
Bound and Betrothed #1
I haven’t read or listened to many Viking romances, but I truly enjoyed this one! It’s a very promising first in a new series, and it’s about six Vikings who are shipwrecked on an island where only women live. Each of the six injured men is cared for by one of the women. This is the story of Eldberg and Hedda. Although she initially treats him as her prisoner, and uses him for her pleasure, Hedda slowly discovers that not all men behave badly. I really loved this spicy story!
Narrator Gareth J. Davies outdid himself with this one. It was an absolute pleasure listening to him.

Elberg Meets His Match
I did enjoy the story the world building and the descriptive writing of Felicity Brandon and Anna Quinn is excellent. This book, the first in a series, sets the scene about what happens when a ship is wrecked on the beach of an island inhabited solely by women.
There are six survivors of the wreck each one is injured and unconscious when found on the beach. The matriarch of the village instructs six of the women to take a male home and nurse them back to health.
This isn’t something that Hedda agrees with she would rather slit the throats of all six men, as far as she’s concerned the world would be a better place without men in it. She is a bitter and scorned woman who was married to the jarl of the village. He treated her badly never, accepted her for herself and made to feel totally unloved or and unworthy.
The men have left the village some having succumbed to an illness and died. The ones who didn’t die sailed away on a ship and never returned. Their fate is unknown, but they are assumed dead.
That was two years ago, and since then Hedda has taken the place of her husband and become a strong but bitter leader.
She is forced by her grandmother the matriarch of the village to take to her long house Elberg the leader of the shipwrecked men. She treats him badly. She even makes him beg for food and keeps him bound to her bed for six days. On the seventh day he manages to cut his bonds and their situation changes.
To find out how you will have to listen to this book yourself because I’m not telling What I will say is that I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book.
The narration by Gareth J Davies is very well done, he did a superb job of bringing the characters to life.

He lost his only love. Hedda and Elberg meet when his ship wrecks . Hedda finds she is the only woman to take care of all the men . Hedda makes Elberg her captive. but soon the tables turn around and she becomes the captive one all things change !

It slowly pulled me in!
An interesting start to a new series. This did not grab me straight off because of the main female character, BUT once you learnt her back story, it was understandable as to why she was such a strong woman and by the end, it warmed your heart that she was prepared to be vulnerable by being honest about her feelings!
I grew to really like her and look forward to the rest of the books in this series.
Narration is superb as always!
