i downloaded this as an easy listen to do some painting jobs...and ended up with my earpod in all evening whilst the kids watched cartoons. couldn't stop listening to this funny, flirty, easy book with good narration ! i immediately downloaded the 2nd book and loved that equally qs much. now onto the 3rd book 👍

I need these women as my friends. They are funny, real and just the perfect amount of crazy that everyone needs in their lives.

This book is Joanie’s book. We start with her at a party, what she hopes is her engagement party. Sadly (or great for the readers, depends on who you ask!), it is not meant to be. Her friends challenge her to 10 dates. In 10 days And, ah, what dates they are. I couldn’t stop laughing at some of the dates (Adrian Byrnes- oh my).

In the background, is Six, her neighbor, and he’s a great character. Sweet but a little wicked but overall, a protector. He’s apparently gifted in erm certain areas, as some accidental falls and grabs have demonstrated. And their banter lead to a lot of giggles and laughs.

Great characters, fun writing and a strong sense of humor makes this book (and series) a must read.

The narrator, Kim Bretton, narrates all three books in this series and I’ve listened to her in book 2 and this book reinforces my initial impression of her. She’s high energy, hilarious and a perfect narrator for the slightly crazy and oh so funny characters. I can’t wait to listen to the third book in the series.

10 Dates is my first novel from Emily James and I am now hooked on this author and I want more. This romantic comedy had me laughing til tears were rolling down my face. The characters were likable, down-to-earth and relatable, the situations were amusing and comical, and you will enjoy every moment of this story. It was well written with the perfect blend of romance, heartbreak, friendship and comedy. I loved the back and fort banter between "4" and "6" and the addition of the secondary characters Mikey and Melinda added another level of hilarity to the mix. 10 Dates was an excellent story and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of romantic comedies.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel. The narrator, Kim Bretton did a marvelous job with the characters. She had varying voices for each character and was able to infuse the correct emotion for them all. Her pace was excellent and she was perfectly suited to this role. It was a pleasure listening to her narrate this novel.

I absolutely loved this book it had me laughing so hard. I really enjoy it when a book has great banter between characters and this book was spot on with the banter. If you're looking for an amazing rom-com I would definitely recommend this book. Also, the narration really brought the characters to life.

Loved every minute of this book and just could not get enough. Laughed out loud throughout the book as Joanie goes through her ten dates. Brilliantly narrated! 10 out of 10 for sure!!

What a crazy roller coaster. Friends helping friends through hard times. Sometimes it’s not really helping though lol. I liked the characters and I enjoyed the story. The narration was great. I really felt the emotions of the characters through Kim Bretton’s voice. I recommend this book. No cliffhanger
