This book gives an underlying meaning to things we take for granted every day. Root words and basic foundations of civilisation take on new meaning. Audible let the book down by not including illustrations which are much needed and would make it flow much better. Considering the price of each credit its not that much to ask!

An alternative take on our ancient history, argued with facts and reason. Very intriguing and thought provoking, this book is fascinating, but could be a bit "text book" for some listeners as every section is followed by the factual information that backs it up.

The book was good with full details but the narrator’s accent and voice really put me off. For such a serious book the narrator should sound more professional or English, but I kept thinking he’s a friend of Liberace narrating about a night out in a matter of fact way. Very Disappointed
