Lovely, easy listening story

Another lovely, easy-listening story from Marcia Turner. Once again, there was nothing too gory, or upsetting. The same funny characters in the same little village of Little Compton. It is an all well that ends well, kind of story, and it would suit readers who like that genre. I particularly liked having to different narrators as this helped, bring the story to Life.

Highly recommended

I've waited in anticipation since the release of the ebook for the audiobook of The Abduction to be released so I can listen to it. Once again Marcia has written a real page turner with loveable characters (except the villains) and a good dose of subtle humour. Tom & Liz work really well together despite being total opposites, or maybe because of that. This is a great story and very entertaining. The two narrators, Lee Beddow & Perdita Lawton both give superb performances as always and Perdita's multiple accents are particularly spot on. Grab a copy of the audiobook, I highly recommend it.

Looking forward to The Burglar, book 3 in the series.

A Really good Listen.

Another great listen from Marcia Turner, this second book in the Little Compton series reunites us with Tom Large and his cleaner Liz as they investigate the disappearance of a teenage girl after a night out. All our friends from book 1 are there plus a few others. Tom's daughter Emily and his grandson Eddie now live with him and Eddie espescially is a loveable distraction. The story is well paced and as always from Marcia well written. Lee Beddow and Perdita Lawton are superb voice actors and work perfectly as they tell the story between them. A highly recommended addition to a good series. I am looking forward to The Burglar, book 3 in the series already.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest unbiased review.
