About this listen
Award-winning comedian Alan Davies stars in his own BBC Radio sitcom.
Meet Alan. He's a struggling actor trying to cope with life in the 90s - the friends, the work, the romance...
Meet the friends: Murray is a local journalist, who's given a crash course in tabloid sensationalism when the entire staff comes down with Peruvian flu. Kate is a primary school art teacher, who tussles daily with the obnoxious seven-year-old Tamara and tries to save time by getting the children to write their own reports.
As for the work, he's played a gay miner and a giant strawberry, but as he's fond of pointing out, he's a serious actor. And as far as the romance, well, girlfriends come and go (mostly go), but Alan battles on.
Funny, flippant, and often just farcical, The Alan Davies Show brings the stand-up comic's hilarious observational humour to the airwaves in this brilliant sitcom.

excellent show but not full series
I love this show but why have Audible only packaged the first 4 episodes of a 6-episode show and called it a series?
Where are the other 2 episodes?
I feel short-changed and will always check running times before buying any series again.

A GOOD STAND UP
This is by no means a belly laugh eye watering routine but it trots along nicely with some uniquely funny moments of every day life delivered in a non abrasive way
funny & worthy addition to the library
