Beautifully told and immediately engaging. Unfortunately very relatable for anyone who's witnessed the power play dynamics of friend groups. This is that - with added 'whoaaa, I can't look'

I was immediately hooked on this book within the first couple of chapters. The story was very gripping and I finished the book within 2 days.

I'm getting better with these types of books, I saw the twist coming. My jaw didn't drop too the floor but it was still very enjoyable. I can't take anything away from this story, I think I'm just getting better at guessing thrillers. Really good listen.

Loved it. Have been unlucky enough to meet a few Lexi and Sophie types and not just in Surrey (well, a bit like them anyway :-) !!!) Loved the narrator.

I lovely easy to listen to book. Although I guess the twist halfway through I didn’t take away from the pleasure of listening. And actually there was a twist at the end I didn’t see coming!

I loved this story… the characters and plot were both realistic however brought to life by brilliant performances and accents by Tamsin Kennard.
I enjoyed the way it skipped back and fourth between husband and wife, past and present yet was still easy to follow without too many character changes. Recommended to a friend today in conversation and will definitely be looking for more books by S E Lines.
