Summary
Jake Turner needed a change of scenery. So he made sure he got just that. The gulf coast of Alabama would be a drastic change from the hustle of the technology hub in California. Surely the beach would help him clear his mind so he could finish the project that was his billion-dollar company's next new thing.
Gillian Payne was haunted by the past. Failures and should-have-dones were all around her. Running the beach bed and breakfast she inherited from her mother was harder than she'd realized it would be. Crisis after crisis kept her busy and worried.

Jake and Gillian!
Jake is a successful computer programmer who owns his own company but is finding the stressful demands are causing a block. He is hoping that a vacation where he can both work and get some rest and relaxation will be the answer.
After her mother passed away Gillian finds herself struggling to run the family Bed & Breakfast the way that she did. She is attracted to Jake, but she is still trying to follow the rules her mother set down about not dating clients.
When Jake comes to her rescue when she encounters a computer problem the feelings between them escalate but with their very different lives will their relationship end when his vacation does? I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and enjoyed the performance of the narrator.
