Summary

Nothing can stop him from saving his dog....

Disgraced LAPD officer Jason Long needs to get away from the cameras and clamoring reporters. When his friend Harris offers to hire him as a winter caretaker for his remote hunting lodge in the Crazy Mountains of Montana, it's an offer too good to refuse.

The job was straightforward enough: Four months up in the mountains maintaining rental cabins. Keeping them clean. Keeping whatever broke in last winter out.

He failed.

In a matter of days, Jason learns that the infamous Beast of Big Timber is very real, and it just stole his black labrador retriever, Glock.

Now, he's got a new job: Kill every last one of those monsters and get his dog back.

The Beast of Big Timber is a rip-roaring novella that never lets up! Fans of Jeremy Robinson and Matthew Reilly won't want to miss this epic adventure set deep in the mountains of Montana!

Bigfoot adventure

This is quite a short listen at 2hr 42mins and is a bit unusual in that the author is transcribing the (fictional) account told to him by the central character, Jason Long.
Jason is a an ex cop who needs to get away following his trial for shooting and killing a black person, he was acquitted but vilified by the press. He accepts an offer to look after a camp in the middle of the Montana owned by a friend, it is miles away from anywhere. It is the winter.
Strange things happen culminating in the camp being attacked by a group of sasquatch, who make off with Jason's dog, Glock. Jason wants the dog back and finds an unusual ally who helps him find the Sasquatch.
This is an exciting listen with a dramatic ending and it is written in a very believable manner. The narration is also very well done and expresses the excitement extremely well.
