Scientist Jimmy Dodd and pilot Tommy Travers are searching for the exact location of the South Pole when a storm drives their plane through an opening into the hollow Earth. This interior land is populated by primitive humans who are raised for food by giant beetle overlords who are led by Bram, a missing scientist who has become the leader of the beetles.
