Summary

The Books of Blood combine the ordinary with the extraordinary while radiating the eroticism that has become Barker's signature. Weaving tales of the everyday world transformed into an unrecognizable place, where reason no longer exists and logic ceases to explain the workings of the universe, Clive Barker provides the stuff of nightmares in packages too tantalizing to resist.

Never one to shy away from the unimaginable or the unspeakable, Clive Barker breathes life into our deepest, darkest nightmares, creating visions that are at once terrifying, tender, and witty. The Books of Blood confirm what horror fans everywhere have known for a long time: We will be hearing from Clive Barker for many years to come.

Bloody good

What made the experience of listening to The Books of Blood: Volume 3 the most enjoyable?

That it is a collection of short stories. Can be delved in and out of at leisure, though you might be tempted to listen to it all first time...

Any additional comments?

Barker's bloody imagination bets better and bolder. There are some excellent tales in volume three, nasty and vivid, and the body count is growing. Stories to look out for include Rawhead Rex, Confessions of a (Pornographer's) Shroud, and Scape Goats.

Top Quality Horror Short Stories

Another great selection of stories from horror master Clive Barker. Son of Celluloid and Confessions of a Pornographer's Shroud are the standouts in this volume, but they are all strong stories.
Another fantastic presentation from Crossroad Press.
Highly recommended.

More of the same.

Not a lot I can say about this if you have read the first two then you already know what your getting. I will say that there is no reduction in the quality of this series
