Awesome Story & Narration🎧 A Gripping Delight!

I loved everything about this audiobook from Lili Valente’s wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created to the fabulous narration. The grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. This is the kind of book that once you start you do not want to put it down because you need to know what happens next. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. I adored the two lead characters, the Prince, Nickolas “Nick” Von Bergen and the Princess, Alexandra “Zan” Gertrude Renee Rochat. The two will soon be related since his brothers and marrying her sisters. There is also that both have careers they do not share with their family and lead double lives. Nick still plays off that he is a partying playboy and Zan keeps to herself pretends to work in an office when not working on secret assignments. Zan finds out Nick is being promoted to a position she wanted, not only did she not get that promotion but now he will be her boss. So she is not happy with that and other things about him irk her. His last assignment before starting his new position is working with her, the two will need to pretend they are lovers. Not an easy task since he has always crushed on her but she never reciprocated or so he thought. The chemistry between them is explosive levels so it their love/hate relationship. I loved how everything plays out in this book the story is cleverly plotted with drama, angst, humor, twists and turns, mystery, some action, thrilling & suspenseful moments, heartfelt and emotional moments and a romance that was always meant to be. Lili Valente, thank you for this wonderfully, entertaining story, I loved every minute of it!

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Shane East & Lili Valente are talented narrators and voice artists. They were fantastic at portraying the characters, giving each their own voice and humanizing them while projecting their emotions into their performance. They grasped their character’s persona completely, taking the role and making it their own. Lili Valente played Zan’s role with perfection, captured her strength and badassery. Shane East played the perfect Nick, cocky attitude and all. They were great at covering the roles of the secondary characters as well. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen.
