The specifics of LDS/Mormon and Jewish beliefs, whilst fascinating and covered with a really interesting perspective by the author, are transcended by the illumination given to absolutely relevant and critical issues of belonging, personal identity and the meaning of faith, culture and belief in the modern world.

Hearing the authentic voice of someone caught between two worlds, whilst also bringing in the voices of others including those who lost their faith made this really interesting.

Having the author narrate the book made it a really authentic experience (even if that meant that some of the narration wasn't the same as if a voice actor had done).

I wanted to know what happened to next to the author and other characters.. an absorbing read all round!

Fascinating study of belonging.
