About this listen

What would you do as the first synthetic intelligence?

In The Chronicles of Theren, embark on a centuries-spanning adventure across the stars, beginning with the creation of the first synthetic intelligence.

Created in a lab with sterile white walls, Theren longs to meet the people of the world. The first SI has hopes, fears, and dreams, just like a human.

Yet the world fears the idea of an artificial mind, capable of conscious thought. To survive against powerful corporations, hateful humans, and global conspiracies, Theren will need friends - and more importantly, a family.

Can Earth survive side-by-side with its new creation?

Can Earth survive as it expands across the stars, guided by immortal minds?

Explore The Chronicles of Theren today and hear the whole trilogy in one volume, including two bonus stories: "Flight of the 500" and "Before Inferno".

Awful mixing/production

The narrators breathing is WAYtoo prominent. You can hear every inward breath! Sounds petty I know, but it becomes so annoying I almost gave up as it distracts from the story ,it only needed a noise gate to cut the breaths out. Seriously, it’s a small thing that becomes overpowering. Interesting story though

What a great collection

I was given a free copy of this for an honest review. This collection of stories are incredible. They really make you question the meaning of sentient consciousness and if it ever got created would it be equal to a human life. Should it live by the same rules, laws and ethics as humans. Should we rely on them or will they not have our best interests at heart as they live almost forever. The strategic and tactical story of Theron and Jill is really interesting as it developed. It really showed how responses to stimuli cause similar minds to be completely different and experiences really change a character. I’d love for the author to expand on this series as I love the characters and the vision they are so descriptive with
