Critic reviews

" The Companions is the best novel [R.A.] Salvatore has ever written. It's insanely courageous, profoundly powerful, masterfully constructed, and easily Salvatore's most ambitious work to date." (Paul Goat Allen, BarnesandNoble.com)
"After a quarter of a century, R.A. Salvatore just keeps getting better and better, and The Companions is another masterful leap forward for one of the greatest fantasy epics of all time." (Philip Athans, best-selling author of Annihilation and The Haunting of Dragon's Cliff)

Well done-Our fav. band is back

That was just what i needed!
I listen to the books at work, when alone or driving, fortunately i was able to finish this book in 2 days, i could not leave it once i began.

I will be honest i havnt liked the books in the Neverwinter trilogy much, Last Threshold was not too bad. I also wasnt sure i could forgive RA Salvatore for making good old proud Pwent into a vampire without any seemingly deeper meaning. Some of us are sentimental you know.

Little did i realize it was all a plot hehe
I was dubious about the idea of reincarnation of the heroes, they did so well in life and how could a new life live up to that.

Again i was proven wrong
Amazing book!
Back with the swing of a notched axe!

I wont bring any spoilers but it brought me back to the days of the halflings gem, only this time i already love the characters and been thru so much.

Extremely well done Mr. Salvatore

A true epic for every fan.

If you're a fan of Salvatore and the legend of Drizzt, then this is the most incredible journey of emotions. A true roller coaster of hope and joy and as incredible as the first time I read it years ago. Having read and followed this series for decades no other book brings a smile or tear to the eye like this. The promise of a lifetime of epic takes to come.

Love these books

I have enjoyed all of the Drizzt books so far and have enjoyed this one more so than the last trilogy with the resurrection of some old familiar characters, but can someone please teach victor how to pronounce parent?😁

That was lovely. A new start and respec of old characters

I missed the companions. Wulfgar not so much but the rest were great.
However the respecing of some of them and the story of that was simply brilliant and leads on to story’s with a different party.
