About this listen
In South London, England, a serial killer appears to be on the loose. Victims have been cruelly slain, bodies are piling high and fear grips the community. But the victims aren’t humans - they’re domestic cats, cute little kitties!
The killings spark a relentless investigation by animal rescue group SNARL, led by the formidable Boudicca Rising, her partner Tony and rock musician Rob. Acclaimed journalist Nancy Miller - who helped track down the infamous Golden State Killer - journeys from the US to help the amateur sleuths crack the case. As ever more victims emerge, the police reluctantly get involved, but doubts about the killer’s existence persist. When the attacks spread beyond London, fear and tension rise, leaving investigators and the public questioning who - or what - is really behind the crimes. And time is running out to solve the mystery with fears growing the killer could ‘species jump’– literally escalate from slaying cats to murdering humans.
Follow Nancy in the hunt for the so-called Croydon Cat Killer in this gripping podcast, which weaves together elements of true crime, a murder mystery, a love story and obsession.

I have a rather petty issue with using the word autopsy, though. Unless they are training dogs and cats to carry out the examinations on their species, the correct word is necropsy. I told you it was petty 😀
Protect kitties at all costs!
