Farmers -the sixth N.Y.family?
This book is a brief history of the mafia group which originated from the Elizabeth area of New Jersey from the early 1900s and which appears to have inspired the very popular television programme, The Sopranos. Unfortunately, not having seen any episodes from this TV entertainment, i was not as drawn into the list of characters as i might otherwise have been and found the large number of named characters rather overwhelming and lacking in substance. In hindsight, i realise that i was not an ideal target reader because of m lack of knowledge of the TV show but now my interest has been engaged and i might well take a look.
My thanks to the rights holders of this audio book who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy.

Good comparisons to The Soprano's
Well researched and good detail, but well paced and doesn't get bogged down in detail. A good listen for nayone interested in Mafia families and particularly good call-outs to The Soprano's for the blend of fact versus fiction. And a great last line, made me smile and here I am writing a review!
