Bad ending
Loved the books. But the ending is missing. There are so many plots that are still open.:(
Need a book 5.

enjoyable and easy listen, well executed
I enjoyed this series, good concept and well executed,
The ending was left wide open with much left unexplained but with the likelihood of another book, although I don't know what it could be about other than the unanswered questions....
overall a very action packed listen with lots of cliff hangers and exciting moments than leave you guessing as to where it's going next,

Reasonable
Steven hawking makes another appearance for book 4. Poorly written in places but made it to rather underwhelming ending, so better than some books.

disappointed !!
Good story, Good concept too. the end was a bit open with many loose ends for my test. And frustrating for I was left in the dark about the real identity of the mysterious trio. I had a feeling that it would dislike the epilogue eventually. May be author left it open on purpose to add a Destroyer 5?
I enjoyed the first 3 books , then the 4th became a repetitive theme of going back and forth in a frustrating arch of pointless subplots and characters that bored me to tears.
I nearly gave up. I wish I did.
The "mature" content was unpolished and juvenile.
It felt like reading a guide for " How to please a lady for idiots " than an intimate liason in between lovers.
Anyway a good effort overall, just avoid the end and imagine your own.

So disappointed
I was left with disappointing feelings after this book as the first three book were great and lead you through this great fantasy world only to have it chucked back in your face with this last book that leaves you with a feeling of is that it, at the end due to it poor ending that seemed rushed and unfinished, read at your own displeasure.

Absolutely awful
Terrible books,I liked the first book but the noting happens for the rest of the series. If you made it to the last book. just listen to the last 3 chapters and I promise you, you will miss nothing. Plots are left dangling with no resolution, characters and motivations are thrown left and right with no semblance of a story.
I'm just so disappointed, this series could really have been something but nothin really happens after the first book, main character gets captured 30 times, he plans to do something and fails and get captured again, repeat et infinitum. This book is just not worth your time and absolutely not your money.
