About this listen
In The Dying Wilds, the final book in the Kingdom of Erishum Trilogy, Vallen and Nyssa venture back into the perilous Dying Wilds on a mission to save five Tributes from a sacrificial ritual. Hidden within their fortified campsite and equipped with magical wellspring water, they steel themselves against the lethal hyvas in their quest to rescue the innocent victims.
Once Vallen and Nyssa free the captives, their plan to return to Puzur is dashed when they discover the ruin that Erishum has become since they escaped. King Jorek must be stopped, and they are the only ones ready to stand against him.
In the trilogy’s gripping climax, the former gutter rats will rise to fight for their people–if they can survive the Dying Wilds first.
The Dying Wilds unfolds as a story of true courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination to save a kingdom in the face of overwhelming odds.

Superb Climax.
This is a superb climax to what has been an excellent trilogy by Gwen Demarco. Plenty of action and edge of the seat moments as Vallen and Nyssa return to Erishum and discover just how bad a king Jorek is. A highly recommended series of books. Janine Granda does a superb job of narrating once again.
