About this listen
Louise L. Hay is a metaphysical lecturer and teacher and the bestselling author of numerous books, including You Can Heal Your Life and Empowering Women. Louise offers penetrating insights on how women of all ages and backgrounds can experience self-love, self-worth, self-esteem, and a powerful place in society.
Carolyn Myss, Ph.D., is a pioneer in the field of energy medicine and human consciousness. Since 1982 she has worked as a medical intuitive: one who "sees" illnesses in a patient's body by intuitive means. She will help you to break free of patterns that limit your ability to create a healthy body and a healthy life. She is the author of Entering the Castle.
Susan Jeffers, Ph.D., is a noted speaker and the bestselling author of many internationally renowned books, including Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, and End the Struggle and Dance with Life. With inspirational, yet practical advice, Dr. Jeffers will show you how to move into the flow of all your experiences with a feeling of harmony, trust, gratitude, and love.
Christiane Northrup, M.D., is a visionary in women's health, bringing together the best of conventional, alternative, and mind/body healing. A board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, she is co-founder of Women to Women, an innovative health-care center in Yarmouth, Maine. She's a best-selling author and the host of five successful public television specials.

This book reminds us of our own magnificence and the joy therein. The speakers are varied in professional and personal expertise but harmonise with the female / human threads of acknowledging fear, courage, self honour, gratitude and balance to name but a few qualities. Each speaker brings her own unique and valuable take to the topic of empowering women. There is no scope for clich?s, sweeping statements or gimmicks. These ladies are living with the types of challenges that many of us do and still see the joie de vivre; as we all should. As the title states, this book is a gift; it is also an inspiration.
I put stuff like this in my own personal tool box, the place I keep all sorts of inspiring material to keep me in kilter and moving in the right direction. That tribal stuff can be a challenge to us all so my tool box is invaluable.
Hats off to Louise L. Hay and her fellow presenters. Gone are the days of accepting the tribal and predetermined ?norms? and hello to the unfolding real you in all of us.
Ladies, if you get to see this review, I invite you to Scotland to share your light with my fellow Scots and UK neighbours and see our beautiful land. I also graciously extend an invite to the beloved Dr Wayne Dyer, who although not participating in this book, does outstanding work and is also published by Hay House.
With gratitude and appreciation.
Teri Darling.
An empowering gift indeed

PS for those younger ladies who have been caught up in the 1950s hype that's gripped the UK lately, you might learn a lot about how life REALLY was for those stay at home mums, and the attitudes of their husbands.
Very uplifting
