it's the first book of Nick Roberts I've read but will definitely be checking out his others. I've read a lot of horror books and this one really had me hooked and audibly gasping in places. Really enjoyed it!

Had me gripped from the start.
Yes it follows the pathway of many before it, but the story is told with a certain slickness.
The characters are full bodied and you are genuinely interested in them.
The narrator was outstanding with an incredible range of voices pitched perfectly to each character.
Definitely worth a listen..

...that same threatening phrase from the Evil Dead movies where people were possessed by demons does feature in this. And like Evil Dead, it's terrifying and gripping. Brilliant narration Sets the scene and you really get to bond with the characters. One of the best audio books I've ever listened to and well worth the credit spent.
