About this listen
Meet the Bonds
Kenny Bond is finally out of prison after doing a long stretch for killing a copper, and is determined to get back to life on the straight and narrow.
A family like no other
Kenny’s son Donny might lack his father’s edge but his twin grandsons, Beau and Brett – well, they are Bonds through and through. Like him, they won’t let anyone stand in their way.
But they’re about to meet their match
Family comes before everything else for Kenny, but there’s a feud brewing that could cause murder, and a new family on Dark Lane might bring the Bonds to their knees. Kenny’s determined that nothing, and no one, will threaten his family. But can the Bonds stick together when someone’s out to take them down?
Meet THE BONDS.
You don’t want to be on the wrong side of this family.

Great story, narrator no so.
I really love all Kimberly's books, particularly love Annie Aldington, really missed her... I'm not loving the new narrators on her books. I'm cockney myself, but he tries too hard.
Overall, great story though.

Meh.
Firstly, I didn't enjoy the narration, there were many many times where he read as if there was zero punctuation. For example it would be read as it the same sentence, but it ended up being a different character in a different location, but with no pause. Also sadly his irish accent is embarrassingly awful, truly awful.
The story followed a formula, much like Martina Cole, same story, different names. The second half was poorer than the beginning, literally rambling random scenarios.
Don't let negative reviews put you off the author, she has some great books, alas not this one...

Brilliant story
Waited months for this book to come out . Story was brilliant but was spoilt by the narration for me . Still enjoyed it just slightly let down by rubbish narration through parts .

Enjoyable
Couldn’t stop listening to more which I find is the case every time with the wonderful Kimberley Chambers writing. Although, it isn’t her finest work, it was definitely a fun listen. I have read most books that are released by Kimberley and love her stories and writing, so decided to give the audiobook version a go, but wasn’t so keen on the narrator. He managed to do the job but I wasn’t entirely convinced. Is a must read if you are a fan of the author!

Where’s Annie?
Hated the narrator. Made the book far less interesting and also confusing when Kimberly is my fav author. Maybe need to purchase in paper form
