From start to finish this book was insightful. loved the way the love languages were explained with real examples throughout. not only did I get a better understanding of my partner but also understanding of myself. listen and share - valuable lessons to be learned.
Dr Chapman has a great tone of voice and it was like listening to a friend which made it easier to follow.

This book was recommended by my sister to help me husband and I can see are my husband and I in some of the stories so he is reading the book to and we are going to try to find are love language to save are marriage and we can see so much for the mistakes we have made. This book is amazing and a eye Opener

Gary sets out his 5 love languages. It is a useful categorisation of how to express love to a partner and knowing the type of love that you like to receive.

I have this 4 stars as the method came across as a bit simplistic and it is not a cure all for all relationship issues. Still it might help partners be more open to each other which helps resolve deeper issues. Worth a listen.

I love this book & have read it 3 times now! Every time I read it I learn something new.

I'm in a very content & happy marriage already, but this gave me the tools to make my husband feel I adored him. Such a simple concept but so very powerful without having to put in much effort.

As a recovering addict (being 14 years clean & sober now) I have read tonnes of self help books whilst being in recovery. This is a) to help me not to elapse & keep clean/sober b) to improve myself & the way I behave towards other people c) to learn how to love/be loved and finalally d) not to be fearful of various aspects of life/not to let my fear hold me back. I must have just under 60 books and this one has to be in my top 3.

I also particularly like it on audio book because the chap reading it has a great voice & therefore it's easy listening. I also really like the authors humour.

I've bought this book/the other love languages books (for men, for children, for single people etc) for 8 people since first reading it time. This is because, as the author says, I just want to get people to have the life/relationship changing experience that this book offers.

I'd highly recommend giving it a read.

Great book which made me realised why my previous relationships didn't last. I wish I have listened to it earlier. I would recommend it everyone, not even people in relationships, but also parents.
