About this listen

Thou Shall Not Run: Having met when they were just 12 years old, Jadalynn and Andrew experienced some of their best and worst moments together. Falling in love was inevitable as they grew older and remained close. And falling out of love was just as certain when the two finally bumped heads.

Thou Shall Not Hide: Looking for love was never on Chad's list of things to do, until he held Taya in his arms on a dance floor and watched God laugh at his plans. She was beautiful in a way that caught his eyes and his heart. Foreign feelings that wouldn't fade had him questioning his sanity. They're both too young to fathom that any of this could be real. So, they come and go and then come back again until there's nowhere left to hide.

Thou Shall Not Fear: Perfection was the main objective when it came to Angela. She was stubborn, strong-willed, and completely incapable of relinquishing control, at times risking her own happiness to preserve the image of what others thought she should be. Angela must take it upon herself to figure out which way to go after leaving a toxic marriage. And she may or may not find refuge in an equally stubborn alpha male by the name of Damien Christopher Briscoe.

The fold series is great! Well worth the read

All three books were amazing, super funny and have you rooting for each love. Chad and Taya’s story was my favourite I did not stop laughing. I also love the way faith is the base of these stories.

As usual Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan smashed the narration.

good but

there is too much religion stuff mentioned. the stories were good, some heavier than other, all of them spicy enough, and all of them romantic amd sweet.
the narration was amazingly good.

LOVED THIS SERIES!!

OMG. Apart from the EXCELLENT narration, the banter between the Fold siblings had me cracking up. Actually laughing out loud in public spaces, whilst on my own listening through my headphones! 🤣 They do say that pastor's children are the worst... 🤭

An amazing series

The love between the Fold family is palpable. It’s so nice to read about a black family in the church that isn’t full of corruption. Each book holds its own weight with a love that makes you feel it in different ways.

Fantastic series with amazing narration

Book one in The Fold series by Sabrina B Scales narrated by Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan.
Jadalynn is a very successful radio host and a big loving family that is very present in her father’s church.
Andrew is a Olympic medalist that has love and lost Jadalynn in high school and college but unfortunately separated and went there own way but to be honest I don’t think they really understand why they separated.
This is a great book and hilarious and surprisingly not filled with sex scenes but when they happen they are so hot.
Absolutely adore Wesleigh Siobhan narration and accent she does an amazing job and so does Jakobi Diem.
Only thing I’m not a fan of is the N word used in the book even though it is used a non offensive way but thats my personal opinion.
Definitely looking forward to two other books in series.

Book 2 in The Fold series by Sabrina B Scales narrated by Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan.
Chad is the son of a minister and a playboy but a good guy.
On a night out he meets Taya a singer in a band that is making it name known.
I love that even though Chad is a playboy and not looking for love but the pull was too much.
Taya is a great character and I love that she strong independent but has a dark unhappy past that she struggles with.
Absolutely love this series it’s funny and soulful at same time.
It’s is based around a religious family with the father as a minister so there’s a lot of talk about god and surrounding church.
There also the N word which I’m not a fan of but thankfully it’s not said every page.

Book 3 in The Fold series by Sabrina B Scales narrated by Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan.
Angela is the 3rd Fold family member and the most serious.
Angela’s story starts with her giving birth to her daughter Patience or Boogie which is adorable but this isn’t planned and Angela is struggling with postpartum depression but struggling with accepting it and coming to realise that her relationship isn’t working.
Unfortunately it takes a lot of years to separate from him.
Angela meets Damien Briscoe a patrol officer and single father to adorable DJ that’s very close to patience’s age.
I will admit I was not looking forward to this. Angela was not my favourite character she’s too uptight and judgmental but this book just showed her real side her full heart and her ability to offer support even to people some people would just leave to struggle.
Briscoe is a strong character but he struggles to express himself and he starts something with Angela he wasn’t quite ready for it but he finally see the light.
I will admit DJ made me cry in this book. The kids are just adorable.

Great series

Story sounded quite realistic and I enjoyed the Christian element, and great to see LGBT acceptance into the Christian community.
Not sure which of the three stories I liked most, but Angela’s sounded more real and Chad’s more emotional.
