I usually like Douglas Reeman’s books, but this was a disappointment. As ever, David Rintoul is an outstanding reader for this genre.

Not his best.

Another brilliant Douglas Reeman offering. I admit that I do often get a little impatient with the clumsy "love interest", but the rest of the story makes up for this minor niggle. Without doubt I will be buying another, and another D Reeman book
David Rintoul brings the story alive and his narration is really second to none. Top job David.

Great Story, superb narration. A damn good listen.

I love Douglas Reeman books as well as his pseudonynm Alexander Kent. If you like sea novels about the sea then you probably already know about Reeman. Under the name Reeman it is mostly about WWII whereas Kent is about Richard Bolitho's war with the French in the 1700-1800s. They are all great and I would very much recommend them

The best author of sea novels

This book is something that people who are interested in Malta, and its servival during the second world war should read.
It has good characters in, and if the end is a tad obvious, it is never the less yet another good book by Reeman. Audible should have more of them.

good, but over priced.

I have read many of Douglas Reeman's books and have always enjoyed them, this is the first time I had listened to one. David Rintoul is ann excellent Narrator and I enjoyed his charcterisations, the story line is good but perhaps not one of his best nevertheless very enjoyable its a pity Audible dont carry more of them.

Glorious Action
