Summary

Longlisted for the Audiobook Download of the Year, 2007.

Motor mouth. Loud Mouth. Tubby DJ. Overpaid ego. What is the truth? Who is Chris Moyles? And what does he have to say for himself when he's not on the radio? Who is this man they call 'The Saviour of Radio'?

In The Gospel According to Chris Moyles, Chris dissects the world around him and tackles all sorts of subjects; from interviewing the world's most famous celebrities, to trying to find a parking space in his own street. But you'll also get to meet his family and friends and learn about how he went from teenage DJ on a psychiatric hospital radio show to the nation's favourite breakfast show DJ on Radio One. His is a life lived on and off the air. And this book is a combination of both. It's funny, it's honest and it's just like him! Ego? What ego?

Pleasantly surprised.

As a listener to Chris's breakfast show - I am well aware of my need to change back over to Radio 4 when his ego gets a bit too large for my liking. However, I really enjoyed taking this journey through his career to date. Great to hear more of the background to the show and its contributors. Would suggest best suited to his fan base - if you like his show - you'll appreciate this.

loved this book again

After reading this book years ago, I absolutely love hearing it on my drive home from work. Now I don't mind traffic jams on the M6

Don't believe the hype

I love the Chris Moyles radio show. Fact.
I enjoy reading books. Fact.
These two don't go together - I don't think Chris has enough vocabulary. Everyone is a 'really nice guy' or 'brilliant!' or 'really really funny'.
Absolutely no depth.
That's two and a half hours of my life, I'll never get back.
