About this listen
When a young woman vanishes without a trace from a quaint fishing village on the coast of England, only one person knows the truth, but he remains silent allowing the authorities to search for her in vain.
Meanwhile, Valerie Crane finds herself transported to the year 1605.
Terrified and confused, she turns for help to the Whitfield brothers, who take her in and offer her a home.
Both Alexander and Finlay Whitfield fall in love with the mysterious woman, who shows up on their doorstep, creating a love triangle that threatens to consume them all.
Valerie must make her choice, deciding between the brother who will lead her down the path of destruction, or one who will give her a love she couldn’t find in her own time.

Valerie, Finn and Alec
Book 1 in this amazing series where we come to learn about Valerie who accidentally travels back to the year 1605, in an England where it is forbidden to be or practice Catholism. She is taken in by Alex and Finn, two brothers who both fall deeply in love for her. Since she has no idea how to return to her own time she decides to agree with Finn's marriage proposal as he is the most carefree of the two brothers. For a while life is good but then tragedy strikes again in her life and once again it will change everything. Meanwhile in the present, her sister cannot give up searching for Valerie and when she finds a painting of a woman, painted in 1608, she knows where she can find some answers. One of my favourite series to read and now available on Audible. Very pleasant to listen to.
