It was a new person reading the book, which called me. By surprise I don’t think it was any better or any worse. It was just difference to the previous 10 books. I’ve listened to. I enjoyed this as much as the rest the rest and I’m looking forward to downloading the next one.

Our first audio book, we weren't really sure what to expect. However, we really enjoyed it! It was quite different to listen to a book being narrated rather than reading it yourself. The Hard Way is a fab story, keeping you on your toes, with fab characters, especially Jack Reacher. Fab,fab,fab!! We also enjoyed another Lee Child book, One Shot, which also features Ex Military Detective Jack Reacher.

Good story as usual, but I really didn't like the change in narrator. made listening really difficult and i hope they switch back to the other guy. no offence to Kerry, I would have said the same in reverse if he'd been the original narrator.

I loved this book from cover to cover so to speak - especially the final chapter - my first Jack Reacher book and I'm hooked. I've downloaded lots of others now but this one was the best narration and story so far but all were enjoyable.

It's difficult to work out if Jack is a good guy or a bad guy, but you can be sure you don't want to be on the wrong side of him. He is as ruthless as any bad guys and he definately never plays by any normal rules that you would expect for our books hero.

Wasn’t obvious that this was abridged which was super annoying. Story is good so if you’re after something quick then it’s ok but in use these on my commute so didn’t feel like value for money.

I downloaded this book expecting to hear Jeff Harding as the voice of Jack Reacher. Instead, I got Kerry Shale, who turned Jack Reacher into the voice of Batman. Not everyone likes Jeff Harding, but by book 9, he was the voice I associated with Reacher.

The Hard Way is trying to cram a story into a short book.

Note to self. Check Narrator before downloading. Note to Kerry Shale, voice Batman books, you would be awesome!
