This is my fourth Allen Eskens and he’s become one of my favourite authors. Wonderful writing and great characters. My only question marks with this book are: (1) why the different narrators? One would have done the job, and three brought nothing to the table. (2) some of the plot points seemed a tiny bit forced to fit the plot, and stretched credibility in places. However, I’m nit-picking! I’d highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a gripping crime story with a good dose of courtroom drama.

I don't want to give too much of the story away in this review, but what I will say is that this book is well written with a good plot and strong characters. RC Bray and David Collacci are brilliant and have given life to the characters in this book. A very good listen - I would highly recommend.

The voice for Max seemed too old for me. Not a complex plot, couple of nice twists

overall a great book the first is still the best but this has me hooked and I will be continuing the series. whether you're into crime thrillers or not, this is honestly a great book overall
