About this listen

We hide in shadows. Our planet is lost. We are the last humans, and we must go home. Two thousand years ago, aliens destroyed Earth. Our fleets shattered. Billions died.

The last humans fled a burning planet, heading to the stars. Today we are still refugees. Hungry. Afraid. Our enemies hunt us everywhere. So we hide. On distant asteroids. In rundown space stations. In deep caves on frozen worlds. And we dream. Of green hills. Blue skies. Golden fields. We dream of Earth. And for the first time, we have hope.

A few of us, just a handful of brave souls, form the Heirs of Earth. We are humans who stand tall. Who fight back. Aliens call us terrorists. The humans we save call us heroes. We have starships, weapons, and warriors. We can bring humanity home. Earth is far. We have not seen her in many generations. But we have not forgotten. Earth is our heritage. Earth is our birthright. We will return!

Decent Sci-Fi story. The narration is good and the story keeps me going book to book, but it's not a gripping, I can't put down sort of series.

The story line is good but there are certain sections that are so repetitive, to the point of boredom. If I hear the phrase "For Earth!" again I might lose it!

Well done to the author for finding a different slant on the story of humans seeking freedom from a vicious stronger alien overlord. My only quibble would be that maybe it could have required a second narrator, not that the solo narrator does a bad job but the problem is there is a quite substantial cast, each with their own story line and sometimes it is difficult to differentiate the characters. Apart from that the author has done a great job opening up so many storylines I am looking forward to the next book to find out what happens next.

lots and lots of repetition almost as if the writer knew ppl would be board and felt the need to remind ppl and fill pages

nothing

Way too many speeches and vows and songs. It was narrated really well, but you can’t do much if the words aren’t there.

Gave up after 5 chapters. Monotonous and the narration awful. It seems the whole idea was to describe as many unpleasant scenarios as possible

Dreadful
