Entertaining
I always allow for a little departure from reality if I want to immerse myself into a good fictional tale. This was no exception. Without pulling the police procedures apart or other little details, I enjoyed listening and will be going onto the third in the series. Clare Corbett is an excellent narrator making both male and female characters believable and possible to recognise who is speaking. A good listen.

The Hidden Graves of St Ives
Another excellent crime novel by Sally Rigby. Well crafted with excellent narration it held my interest to the end. The development of the relationships between the characters is particularly sensitively done as Matt and Lauren learn to work together and form a friendship. A thoroughly enjoyable read. More please!

Exciting, kept me listening beyond my bedtime!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and thought the reading of it was excellent. It was exciting and moved at a fast pace; I didn’t want to stop the audio! It was a light murder mystery with some interesting twists and nice characters. It was an easy lesson at the end of a long day and just what I wanted - I will definitely buy the next book in the series to listen to.
Having said that, compared to others in this genre the book is quite short and does lack the depth of character and robustness of police procedure and plot development, that you might find in other murder mystery books, There is only one main storyline, that takes a predictable path.

Just okay but disappointing
I have listened to a load of Sally Rigby books and I was overwhelmed with how much I enjoyed them so now I have a backlog of titles to get through. There was a point in this story where I was so annoyed with her policemen concentrating on social media when a simple look at phone records would have solved the case immediately. She goes out of her way to make a point that the victims all received texts or phone calls…… then the story loses its credibility.
