About this listen

Learn the tools to shed your mask of extroversion, develop your own magnetism, and reveal the true you.

One third to one half of Americans are introverts in a culture that celebrates - even enforces - an ideal of extroversion and a cult of personality. Political leaders are charismatic, celebrities bask in the spotlight, and authority figures are assertive. It is no surprise that a quiet revolution has begun to emerge among the invisible half of the population, asserting that they are just as powerful in their own unique ways.

The Irresistible Introvert embodies the spirit of this revival and breaks down the myth that charisma is reserved for extroverts only. This mini manifesto shows introverts how to master the art of quiet magnetism in a noisy world - no gregariousness required! Within this audio, you'll discover how to shed the mask of extroversion and reveal a more compelling (and authentic) you. You'll also learn how to:

  • Master the inner game of intrigue
  • Manage your energy for optimal engagement
  • Create an emotional ecosystem for charisma
  • Establish introverted intimacy
  • Cultivate communication skills for quiet types

As a professional charismatic introvert, author Michaela Chung demonstrates that you no longer have to forcefully push yourself outward into the world against your nature but can rather magnetize people inward toward the true you. In the process you'll learn to embrace your "innie life" and discover potential you never knew you had.

Absolutely loved it.

Great listen. Validated my hypothesis of being an introvert and gave effective ways to manage society in a extrovert society

Fantastic book

I am a 57 year old introvert and I found myself so engaged with this book that I laugh out loud.
I would highly recommend!

I was first esceptical but it was actually good

I've read a lot of material about introversion, but this book is the first that goes further and talks about how we actually feel, our fears, our loneliness, our search for someone who gets us. I was relieving.

very good to understand introverts

it blew my mind a bit to realise just how many of my personality traits are because I'm introverted, not just a weirdo.

helps understanding extreme introverts

I don't think personality types are as extreme as suggested here but still useful to develop an understanding of the extremes

Juvenile, shallow, cringy, I had to give up...

I don't know what age the author wrote this, but its like its written by a annoying gap year student. Thinks they know how the whole world works because they once went on a long holiday, but in reality they seem to have zero life experience or genuine understanding of introverts. she seems to boil it down to not having much energy, so maybe do some yoga and you will be fine. does not seem to grasp how crippling, lonely, and dark it can get for introverts . Would look at some other books for some actual help.

sloooooow start

the introduction did it, so simple and basic yet not getting to the point of the book. what is the point? how can you help me? don't spend hours describing your own experience, tell me why I should care

Frustratingly “fluffy” - A lot of “heart”, “soul”, “spirit” etc getting in the way of practical actions.

I do not find the book helpful

within the description of an introvert the author offends all introverts, puts them in one bag. I did not enjoy it at all. her subjective views lack objective research and being introvert myself, the book sounded more like one big excuse for who the author is rather than offering any constructive advice
