I thought this short story was really well written. I wanted to know more .
It’s a stand alone prequel so I don’t suppose the teacher or the main child will be in the actual books but I enjoyed it enough to have a look

A good little prequel and thought provoking moral to the end story. Easy but fast paced storyline that makes you think about the choices we make in life.

Short and thoughtful

Bittersweet and thought provoking story, short but inspiring

I wish there was more to it, wish it went more in depth

Love this

I enjoy this but it’s only an hour long - I hadn’t noticed the length when Audible recommended it to me. I used my monthly credit to purchase it but it seems like a bit of a waste for only an hour.

Not worth a whole credit

A very different post-apocalyptic story. How are people affected by a slow apocalypse. How do you go on, when you know there is no future. The last teacher, Rae, is a true inspiration ❤️

It made me cry

This books works as a short standalone but it’s an idea to have read the others to get full appreciation.
As others have said, I would have loved this to be longer, as it’s one of my fave of the series.
Nicely read too.

Bittersweet

I think this would have made more sense to me if I had read some of the books it is the prequel to. Well written - I will have to take a look at the others in this series.
