Good read. Would have liked to know more about the other characters. A great holiday book . The performance was excellent. The book missed moments and just jumped you into moments without explanation. But enjoyed it still

I enjoyed this. It was a nice contemporary read which touched on so many relevant topics in a seamless and unforced way.
The characters were relatable and the ending was a nice touch.

The story is so compelling, as are the characters. They’re relatable, complicated and human in a way that can be difficult to do in a book that’s more story driven. The story is really contemporary, dealing with the world of the internet, post Me Too, and gender politics. I like how well it humanised so many conflicting perspectives. Can’t wait to see it adapted on screen!

I listened for a group - it wasn’t my choice. The audible is good and I’m not sure I would bother with the book. Both narrators are excellent. There are a few pot holes and it’s unbelievable at times, but very important themes. I listened as the Russell Brand story evolved so it was highly relevant. There is an excellent interview with the author at the end who is a fellow Croydonite.

The story was great, the fallout from allegations about behaviour against women was so true to life. Really good delve into the different characters as we uncover their secrets. Beautifully narrated too, completely believable as the characters
