About this listen

Over 225k+ words of enemies-to-lovers tension, alternate fantasy adventure, and bold action. This box set contains all four books in the Lochlann Treaty series, and never before seen exclusive bonus content.

Peace at any cost.

Princess Charlotte’s entire life had been planned.

Right up until the moment her fiancé is kidnapped on her wedding day, sending the entire kingdom hurtling toward disaster.

Charlie has never left the protective grounds of the castle, but to save her intended, she’ll trade her crown for a sword and forge into dangerous rebel lands alongside her fiancé’s arrogant older brother, Logan.

Logan thinks she’s a spoiled princess. She’s about to prove him wrong.

But each step deeper into the enemy’s world confirms nothing is what it seems. Not the love that was supposed to be easy. Not the allies she’s supposed to trust. Not even the outlaws she’s been raised to fear.

Faced with brutal truths and the looming threat of war, Charlie must find her inner strength to not only fight back, but to trust her heart—no matter where it leads.

From naïve princess to warrior queen, The Lochlann Treaty will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. A sweeping fantasy for fans of Red Queen, Outlander, and Throne of Glass.

Critic reviews

"The Lochlann Treaty series. One of my favorite fantasies of the year. Mahle and Madison are an ace duo who created a world that I didn’t want to come back from. The only problem with this book is that it had to end." (M. Lynn, USA Today best-selling author)

So worth a read

This is a great series!! It’s YA (fade to black). With plenty of political intrigue and a good story!! They world is rich and I’m excited to see some of some of the unanswered questions will be addressed in the next series!! I’m excited to dive into those next!!

Best. Series. Ever. 🙌🏼🤌🏼💙

It's over 😭 This omnibus has 12 chapters from Logan's POV (at the end as bonus content) and it was a nice way to ease the pain of such a beautiful story coming to an end. This series was such a pleasure to read. I binged the whole thing, which normally I am unable to do. I could just not put it down. It's such a gripping tale. Romance, action, mystery. Highly highly recommend 💙💙💙

💕 RCRS: 4 (fade to black)

🎧 Narrator: Olivia King is FANTASTIC 👏 She's my tip top favorite Narrator!! You will not.be disappointed. She's FABULOUS with many many different accents.
The bonus chapters at the end are done by a male Narrator. He was pretty good.

👉🏼 Some Quotes

“Sun’s too loud. Close it,” I mumbled
.
“Aye. Ye are. Family isn’t about the blood we share, or the name that’s been passed down to us. It’s about bein’ there fer another bastard when the world turned its back on him. It’s about loyalty, trust, and honor. It's about bein’ a friend when no one else will be.”
.
how was I supposed to rule when my reign was being forged in blood?
.
He tilted my head up and met my mouth with his in a combination of tenderness and urgency. I squeezed my eyes shut against the tears, tried to block out the part of my mind that wondered if the feeling of his lips on mine would fade over time. Or if it would burn like another scar, branding me forever as his.

Distracted by accent discrepancies and weak story

I managed to make it through the whole book... barely. I was super distracted by the fluctuations in accents so much that I was questioning whether this is a real person narration or AI?! Plait and Calm were two of many massive bugbares and I struggled to not hear all the incorrect pronunciation for the rest of the book.
the story itself is fine but appears rushed, I've come off the back of reading ACOTAR and Throne of Glass and this doesn't touch the sides in terms of character development or story. if the narration had been better it may have been more enjoyable but as it was I barely stuck with it but did because I'd already spent my credit. Def listen to the sample first but I wouldn't rush to buy!
