Biddy Weir is a quirky girl.

Thought provoking and uplifting.
Beautiful narration of a sensitive story which many people can relate to. Loved it and will definitely be looking to read more from this author.

Such a poignant story
This book is so uplifting. The description of feeling were so good you could almost feel what poor Biddy was living with, and the story so good I didn't want it to finish. Looked for other books by the author who I had never read before but unfortunately this is the only one on Audible but I will certainly looking out for her. An poignant story told brilliant by an excellent story teller

I read a LOT. At least a book a week, often two.
I absolutely loved this book. Wow, just wow. Please write more Lesley!
It was heartbreaking at times, but also so incredibly heartwarming
I absolutely loved Biddy, just loved her. I wanted to give her a squeeze and shower her with love and support.
The narrator was brilliant. This is one of those hooks I’ll read (or listen to) again some day and I never do that. I will be recommending this to friend and family in Years to come.

Truly Lovely
What a beautifully written and read story. I was thoroughly engrossed from start to finish. A very sad and happy tale at the same time. Such a vulnerable and unhappy character fully controlled by a truly evil bully.
I won't spoil the ending, other than to say "Karma"!
The narration was brilliant and I look forward to reading more by this author.

heart breaking and captivating - beautifully read
I found this story moving beyond words, amazing characters, so thoughtful and well considered. the narrator did the story proud. couldn't stop listening. I wish I could follow biddy on into her future

A truly heartbreakingly beautiful novel.
I'll admit, I had to stop part way through as it was a pretty difficult listen (the narrator expertly navigated all the voices from all the characters).
But I simply couldn't leave it for long. I had to find out Biddy's progression.

Wow.
Having listened to hundreds of books, this one will stay with me for a while. What a heartfelt, heartbreaking and beautifully executed story. I felt so many emotions listening to this, and to someone who has experienced long term bullying, this might be a difficult listen. The writing and performance is exceptional. I will definitely be looking out for more by this author.
