Summary

The vicious Rapscallion army is threatening to batter down the walls of Redwall Abbey. But standing in their way are the brave hares of the Long Patrol and a stout-hearted contingent of forest creatures. And no defender of Redwall is more courageous than young Tammo, an inexperienced but eager hare who dreams of great adventure. Fueled by sumptuous feasting and hearts lifted by stirring ballads, Tammo and his honorable companions raise their swords in a pitched battle for the future of their land.
Don't miss any of Brian Jacques' Redwall series.

One of the best of the Redwall series

We have listened to many of the Redwall series. This is one of our favourites, lots of irrepressible hares up to bold, fun adventures. It also gives great explanations of the basis of other story lines in other books, such as how Cregor got to Redwall. A great listen

Jus as good as I remember

Read these as a child, now listen to them with my little boy. Superb world, not as gruesome as Tolkien and Martin but just a vivid and expansive. A truly pleasant listen, amazing performance too. Would highly recommend to parents and anyone wanting an easy listen.

Brian Jacques does it again

A gripping story that is both hilarious and tense in turns. There?s plenty of action to keep you hooked from start to finish, and several sub plots to make sure that no matter what you?re never board. A delightful addition to the Chronicles of Redwall.

Eulaliaaaa!

I have read and followed the Redwall series since I was young. Each book brings you new characters, and old ones too. By reading the series you become part of the characters lives and understand the history behind the magnificent Abbey of Redwall.

The Long Patrol brings you to the life of young Tam. His journey into the famous Long Patrol. New life. New love. Death of friends and Birth of new ones.

As with all books in the Redwall series there are stories to learn for readers both young and old. How to act among friends and how are be amongst enemies.

Listen to the book, you will be hooked. Even better you will not get bored of the stories and will be able to listen to them over and over again.
