More of a heartwarming reunion story
I really enjoyed this book, however if you're looking for a classic Jewell suspense story then this isn't it. Be more prepared for a heart warming story of reuniting families. Overall though, a really lovely story but not at all mysterious and thrilling as her other books.
I did find it very moving and was intrigued to know what was going to happen. The only negative thing really was there were moments in it where even the dialogue was predictable, and I found the narrators voice to be a tad grating at times, as she sometimes stuck with the same monotone voice.

Misses the Jewell thrill
A lovely book and an easy lesson but was missing the twist, or the thrill I’ve come to love and expect of Jewell.

Different to her usual. Okay if nothing else to read but not amazing.
Story was okay. Not a thriller as expected. Got a bit monotonous at times. The basic narration was good but the accent of the “common” characters was really annoying, it felt like the narrator only had two defaults for accents. Her narration voice and a commoners voice.

Good narration and interesting characters.

good read
found this book slow to start and struggled to get in to it to a point we're I thought about stopping however it then all starts to make sense and then I found it the totall opposite were I couldn't stop reading ....overall really great story!

Really Enjoyable Listen

Different to the thriller books but lovely
Enjoyed this book. It’s easy to listen to and I love Lisa Jewell’s writing style. The story is really lovely and the characters are well described. It’s a bit predictable but I still liked it and would recommend. The narrator is perfect
