Bringing all her old characters together in the final story was a nice touch, excellent.

I thought that the choice of material used was spot on, good to hope for more new stories.

An enjoyable easy listening group of short stories

Enjoyed the short stories as I found I could listen with ease the whole story. Loved the stories around Ruth and Nelson.
The stories are easy to listen to, very enjoyable, and well narrated. I hope we can have more of these short stories.

A little different but as always, very good

It was fun to hear the different stories and little snippets from Ruth's later life and others we've met before. one story I knew from many years ago but it came fresh to this time!!! all in all, a surprisingly good delve into 'other' genre or perhaps just snippets from another life!! most enjoyable if not quite so captivating.

Great for fans of Elly Griffiths

A good variety of different stories and narrators, best enjoyed if you’ve read the Ruth and Nelson books and know the characters.

Ellie Griffith’s old characters

Loved revisiting Ellie Griffith’s old characters.
I was left wanting more of Ruth, Harry, Harbinder Kaur and Flint the cat.

A wonderful chance to meet old friends

A wide range of short stories, but the best are meeting our friends from all of Elly’s books in new adventures ( and re-hearing about the Christmas tree!). Now we have had a glimpse of what happened next to Ruth, Nelson and Kate we’d all like more please Elly! A lovely collection of voices with Jane Macdowall producing the cadences and voices we have grown to love. Oh and how good to hear from Flint!!

Excellent collection of short stories.

I usually find short stories disappointing but this collection was different. It kept my interest throughout and I enjoyed each one. I like the way it brought all the author’s characters up-to-date- more of this please.

All of it, impossible to dislike anything that this author pens. Great for driving too.

A mix of the best with enough Ruth G to keep you happy

A brilliant collection of short stories with all the usual favourites. Thank you Elly, just what I needed to calm my Ruth Galloway cravings
