Again, a grippinook, though not quite the Count if Montecresto. Wit, valour, intrigue, all there. Would have preferred it to be longer though.

An excellent conclusion to the saga of D’artagnan and the Musketeers. Bill Homewood faultless as ever - would go back and read again if he narrated the central books too!

Bill Homewood, you're a magnificent narrator. Monsieur Dumas would be proud of the way this enchanting and inspiring book has been brought to life.
The movie did this book no justice at all.

shapeless plot, overlown bombastic space filling, generally disappointed. this was written not as a work in its own right but as a sixth of a megaproject and was issued in serial form. so the plot is incoherent and there are lots of filler chapters of little value. read Monte Cristo instead
