Through explaining the basics, Franklin gives you the tools you need in order to make informed financial choices about what to do with your money for the best return on your investments and to achieve lasting results. This book will help you to achieve your financial goals, by laying out the foundations you need to build the future you want. If you start on the bottom rung and learn the basics of money, you will find it much easier to climb the ladder to future financial freedom.

One of the best books on money and wealth from a British perspective
Honestly one of the most relatable and detailed books, I’ve read about wealth and money from a British perspective. Many young men from working class backgrounds suffered from what can only be described and “Fear” due to lack of knowledge, and this book truly helps break that fearful relationship we had with money.
I hope this book helps build a syllabus for financial literacy in school.

Level of detail
The level of detail the book went into and how clear it was. The case studies/examples were also an excellent way to give context to the theory.

A great listen and thought provoking
Really good structure to the book, initially thought some concepts were very simple, but quickly gets into good levels of detail.
Hyper relevant case studies / stories and I particularly enjoyed the property investing one which was laid out super clear. Great book - highly recommended!!!

A good guide to understand the money train
This book is an excellent resource, catering to both beginners seeking to understand money and wealth structures and those looking to refresh their knowledge while expanding their wealth portfolio with practical reminders, hints and tips. It provides a simplified guide to navigating the UK tax system, potential pitfalls, and strategies for maneuvering through financial markets. Through compelling third-party characters and their financial scenarios, the book effectively illustrates lessons to be learned with strategies for overcoming obstacles. Additionally, it offers valuable insights into distributing acquired wealth to loved ones. Overall, it's a solid read with long-term utility.
In terms of stars, my true rating is 4.5 out of 5. While it offers valuable insights and practical advice, there might be slight room for further depth or expansion in certain areas to fully cater to one who already has a good catalogue of financial knowledge. I follow Franklin Asante's content via social media and he is quite an inspirational figure.
