A con man gets in too deep during a risky job on the French Riviera

A good yarn with an engaging different type of story. With great narration I found it difficult to stop listening.

Unusual, intricate, off-beat, well written, well narrated, very long courtroom procedural drama. We move line by line like in a film script, with each scene painted thoroughly to walk us through the unravelling of a conman's life and the lady he meets on holiday. Funny and ironic in so many places. If you enjoy this author's work, love puzzles, and participating in solving the MCs awkward predicaments in the plot, you will enjoy this. Well defined MCs who grow on you despite their conduct. VERY ENJOYABLE

Far too much legal and financial jargon to the point of boredom. Narration was one dimensional.

Promising plot but failed to deliver

Really didn’t like the narration of this book - it was a bit bizarre, with the wrong emotions being portrayed and odd speech patterns.
Didn’t like the plot either - the characters left me cold - didn’t care about what happened to any of them. And the court process became tedious.
