Eye-opening, alarming, and rage inducing messages are constant in this book but it is vital we hear them and know about them. AI has already permeated so much of society and discourse and we need to know how where and how it is biased. Furthermore, the potential for it to embolden abhorent views and behaviours has been and will be destructive in its current state.

Laura Bates is an amazing author. Having read several other of her books I expected to love this one and to see the incredible stats and research she puts in as well as the emotive stories she share and I was not disappointed.
A harrowing book in lots of ways, it definitely doesn’t pull and punches but so very important for the world right now.

This book shocked me to the core but, given Laura’s meticulous research, the future she describes is even more dystopian than the present.
I have been sickened by the males she has detailed in all of her books and there must be millions of them hiding in plain sight.
Women and our male allies need to read all of her factual books in order to educate themselves about the realities of what she details; to wake up and start taking action, NOW!

Clear and thorough book on this critical topic. I would have liked some recommendations for things I can do to impact change, not just societal/governmental level changes, but otherwise a well-written and educational book.

Every adult just read/listen this book! Her investigative work illustrates very well how big corporations only care about profit and that AI will carry on extending the harsh arm of Patriarchy into the near future and how harmful that will be for all of us
