Good Plot - Enjoyed the ending
I enjoyed the story of the privileged housewives gone bad only likeable character was Tash. Nice ending too.

Very entertaining and engaging
A good page turner and kept me gripped. It’s a little cliche in parts and some bits didn’t ring true for me e.g. why would a character be keen to go on a holiday with a group of friends that they are eager to distance themselves from and includes a colleague who they has some longstanding issues with?? However, the parts with Sophie at the end were quite movingly written and the main characters were well fleshed out. I found the narration good and voices suited the characters. An overall solid ride but not as haunting as some other thrillers that really get under your skin.

Kept me guessing
Enjoyed the narrative structure, unlike others I liked the flicking between the different time periods, as well as the story being told through the eyes of the different characters.
I wanted more on Tash’s relationship with Sophie’s mother that felt a bit abandoned. Some of the characters were not that convincing and felt like caricatures . Overall a good yarn that had me wanting to keep listening.

All the characters were annoying
An annoying long winded route to the conclusion. unbelievably gullible and dense reporter! Plot was good but boring as there were no nice characters!

I wasn’t gripped by this and then felt offended when the author described a situation to be ‘like something out of Anne Frank’, as though referring to a book or a film.
