About this listen

Deep inside Minkalla's depths Matt, Liz, Aster, and Susanne just fought one of the strongest monsters they have ever encountered. But their delve isn't over yet.

Three floors remain and each promises to push them past their perceived limits.

There is no escape. There is no higher Tier to get them out of trouble.

The only things they can rely on are themselves and the rest of the party.

Don't miss Book 7 of this action-packed fantasy adventure that blends everything you love about LitRPG with Xianxia.

About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and Xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all Xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

Great story

the overall books are great and the characters are developed well with this book. I just wanted a bit more of what happens next or more of a teaser about what's to come in the next books.

Great tempo of the story

Love how the characters are keeping a steady pace of development and always progressing.
I personally could do with more time with the main characters and less for the more seemingly “random” cultivators taking up whole chapters. Would’ve also preferred to hear about their team completing their run at Minkalla, and not 30 minutes of political talk to finish the book.

slightly disappointed with the ending chapters

Controversial to the headline I did enjoy the story, I was very disappointed that the Author decided on a final chapter of political insight to what has been going on since the Emperor left, I do think this could have been used for a great chance to follow up with what happened after the team left and met up with the waiting Luna (Team debrief, loot collected) etc, and the political chapter could have easily have gone into the next book as a starting chapter.

Great action, but too short over all.

This book picks up directly after the conclusion of book 6, however it feels less like a sequel and more like what should have been the conclusion of the previous book. Overall still a great story with Hugh stakes.

An Epic story arc

Absolutely loved the conclusion and the heart warming moments, especially the several lives ceremony. Narration and writing are both top tier.

It felt like a filler

not a bad book but it felt more like a filler book with all the side stories. I understood that there needs to be character development. I just felt like it was to much and ended up skipping a lot of it especially when they kept living different lives, hopefully it doesn't bite me in the rear end later as I don't know what happened but I don't think it will come up that much.

waaay too many random new characters

I really enjoy this series. but this book (similar to the previous) had far too many different perspectives from other characters.

it felt like half the book was just from others perspectives rather than progressing the story.

I do enjoy the world building, but it feels like side stories like this could be split into a different book 7.5 for example.

I've not skipped this much of a book ever

Filler and not enjoyable for hrs at a time, the. back to the story I enjoy for a bit , back to filler. when there was 4 hrs left I hoped it would get better... it didn't . I'll read the next book but if it doesn't move the story on I'll be dropping the series.
