About this listen
Although Erickson's approach to hypnosis and psychotherapy has a wealth of individual techniques that can be used within a framework of the principles set forth in the first book of this series, he did have an overall strategic approach toward working with his patients. That approach is presented in this concise book with the intention of you quickly mastering the concepts so that you can apply them immediately.
Milton H. Erickson, MD, was an American psychiatrist who pioneered several indirect or permissive hypnosis techniques. He also developed several naturalistic techniques using metaphors and stories. He is one of the two most important figures in the development of hypnosis and hypnotherapy in the 20th century. His techniques have been used in behavioral and medical applications.
This is book seven of the Embracing Ambiguity: The Worlds of Ericksonian Hypnosis series.
