The early part of the book was fine, retelling the story of Kane and Abel, but, for me, the latter part was rather dull, not helped by the narration. Not one of his best.

Not great

Too much time spent on the first story Kane and Abel but still good for a sequel.

Good read

Enjoyable book. Having just finished Kane and Abel, I found the first half of The Prodigal Daughter was a recap of Kane and Abel. However second half of the book was brilliant

I loved Kane and Abel and I’m an Archers fan of other of his series. I found the second half of the book after the recap of book 1 to be boring and dragged on and on monotonously. I haven’t finished as I lost interest.

Disappointing Follow Up

If you loved Kane and Abel, do not leave it to long too read/listen to this book. The reader was a bit like listening to "Alexa" but the story line fitted like a glove into the first book.

Kane and Abel round 2

I enjoyed this story of love, loss and suspense. Maybe not just as exciting as Kane and Abel buy I wanted to know more about these two families. Looking forward to the next book to follow the next generation of Kanes!

Good Story.

No where near as good as the first book cane and able very long with out much of an interesting storyline going on
Felt like it was just filled out with minimal effort lots of boring long bits that were just written to fatten out the book
