Mary thought her story would end with the revelation that Will in fact had several families—and numerous children. But when she discovered that he had continued to prey on new victims, she vowed to turn his betrayal into a force for good. On her mission to protect these women and others, Mary also learned more about the psychopathy behind Will’s duplicitous behaviour.
Teaming up with his newest fiancée in the US, Mary attempts to put an end to Will’s devastating activities. But will she and her fellow victims succeed in their ultimate goal: to bring down Will Jordan forever?
Mary Turner Thomson began telling her story in her first book, The Bigamist. Now, in The Psychopath, she delves deeper into Will's betrayal, telling an entirely new story of how she moved on, and helped others do the same.

What an amazing courageous woman!
You should be so proud Mary Turner Thomson. You have achieved so much and your book is full of inspiring examples of how you worked all this out for the good of all women who find themselves in this situation.
And what a fine role model you are for your children and all who have helped themselves heal because of you sharing your story and being the listener they needed.

Captivating story
I absolutely loved the way you tell your story. It is so incredibly validating and you’ve personally touched my life. You having the courage to speak up about what you have experienced is inspiring. You don’t not realise the impact this will have on other people’s lives.

Fascinating!
Listened immediately after reading The Bigamist. Both books are fascinating and dispelled any ideas about victims of psychopaths being easy prey. An important and accessible insight into the behaviour of manipulative people.

A stronger woman
This is really the second part to 'The Bigamist' that confirms that the experience Mary had was not because she was a victim, but just one woman amongst many abused over a huge period of time by one man. As you listen you will be shocked at how prolific Will is,and how he is able to move from person to person over decades without conscience .But really this story is Mary's story now. He has underestimated the strength of the women he used, like Mary, who support and protect each other and also inevitably, as shown,future victims.It is a more complex book than I expected. I really enjoyed it more because I think you can hear the difference in tone from her first book, with Mary now .It's uplifting that a woman and her family ,after everything she has gone through, has come out of the other side of this in all her glory.This is a well balanced story and her research is balanced and informative,I actually feel like I've learnt something today thankyou 🙂

Really interesting listen
I have never thankfully been close to this kind of scenario. I am so glad I never met this kind of man because I think I would defiantly have been tricked. Great to hear so many women have stood fought and won against such unfairness and cruelty. Great book, good performance well worth listening.

Heartbreaking and empowering
This was a hard book to listen to. It is very well written, and narrated brilliantly. It made me think back to my own life, not of a partner, but of my parents. I stood up to them, and they ridiculed me to everyone because I wouldn't bow to them. I don't know where you found the strength to leave, but I'm glad you did, and found a way to help many others. Stay strong.

A Book I Couldn't Put Down...
I first came across "The Bigamist "by accident last week and was compelled to quickly catch up with "The Psychopath". Your story is shocking but you can see how strong you have become and it's great to see your strength coming through when reading your new book. Relatable, honest
I throughly enjoyed the honesty, the openness and found this addictive. I unfortunately recognised a lot of the descriptions…
However that aside, I enjoyed every second of being able to look at this type of person from another’s eyes.
