Summary
This box set contains His Rule, Her Rebellion and Their Reign and makes up the complete Rite Trilogy, a Secret Society Dark Romance!
I live in a world where secrecy reigns.
A Society rooted in power, wealth, and long-held dynasties.
Where men are Kings, and women are pawns.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamt of escaping the shackles of my expectations.
But it can only ever be a dream.
I made a fatal mistake, and those shackles became a cage.
Now I’m trapped in a war with a man who controls my every move.
He’s my brother’s best friend.
My enemy, my tormentor, and my solace.
His words have the power to wound me.
His touch just might break me.
But this is his kingdom, and as long as I’m here I only have one choice.
I’ll play by his rules.
Note from the authors: The Rite Trilogy is set in the world of The Society. It is the story of Mercedes De La Rosa and Judge Montgomery. The trilogy can be listened to on its own, however, if you're new to The Society, it is recommended that you start with the first series of books in the world, The Society Trilogy.

excellent trilogy and narration
this is by far my favourite of the sovereign sons trilogies so far. of course as its a sovereign sons trilogy it has the usual occasional dubious consent, humiliation and possession of women ect that seem to be part of the course with these tortured men. Judge is by far my favourite of these men though, he never takes it too far with his 'little monster' and the way he protects her from the tribunal, you undoubtedly would forgive him for past mistakes. he loves Mercedes rebellious nature, all while attempting to tame her. although I don't agree with some of her decision making, I love the way Mercedes sticks up for her right to be who she choses to be, in her world where men rule, something that is engraved into them from childhood. it makes me love Judge more that she opens his eyes to this and he clearly intends to bring reform to.
the performance from these two skilled narrator's was excellent, you could feel every ounce of emotion they put into it, with clear differentiation for each character, a very enjoyable listening experience.
I highly recommend this trilogy.

Enjoyed this Trigology
book 1 was a bit slow but by the end there was more action. it was nice to see Mercedes grow into a thoughtful person and less of the spoilt diva. Judge was a real alpha male just like a cave man unable to show his emotions so much chemistry between these two characters. Mercedes made me laugh as she was going into labour had judge running around 🤣 I've enjoyed all of the society books I've listened to.

A big 3½ stars in story but Audio 4 stars
There are good and bad things to this story.
The Good: The narrators did a phenomenal job on breathing life into the characters. There is a excellent distinction between the voices of each character and made it easy to follow the dialogue and story.
The Bad: The character Mercedes was so contradicting, annoying and hypocritical that book 1 and book 2 were very irritating to hear her.
Judge was a good character and basically carried to story.
The plot was consistent and keep me engaged. The mystery intrigued me and shocked me. But even all this it was a good story and I did finish the whole audiobook.

3 🌟
these authors are amazing I have never started a book hating the heroine but as good as they are Mercedes was just not my cup of tea. She didn't redeem herself as much as I wanted, I can't forgive her for how she was with Ivy. Judge on the other hand was perfection.. I feel like she was just a spoilt brat who got what she wanted. would have loved more interaction with Santiago and Ivy their story was much better and I wish we had seen their scenes more than the other side characters. 1 book would have been enough for Mercedes and judge story..
