About this listen

Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them… when they stumble haphazardly into a foreign realm.

In a world where runes hold unimaginable power, mere mortal and gifted artisan Nate must harness arcane magic to navigate treacherous paths, reveal the hidden truths of his own past, and discover the workings of the illusive ‘System’.

No big deal.

Emboldened by only his penknife and a weirdly profound understanding of runic sorcery, Nate must uncover if the path he has been thrust upon may spare his earthly existence. After all, why only leave your mark on one world… when you might leave it on two?

Great, couldn't put it down.

Great new tilt to the LipRPG book world. I found this book catching and intriguing that had me hooked from the start and kept me wanting all the way through.

to much angst for my tast

well the MC has a lot of trauma. nothing wrong but it kinda pulls the story down from a fun fantasy adventure with a interesting spin on the skills of the MC (more preparation based combat) to "I have to rush everything and don't think about everything else"-story with a lot of lost growth and potential for awesomeness. I made it only till chapter 18 and had to stop. just not for me

Light hearted but nothing new

All the ingredients for an okay LitRPG, very repetitive overlong stat descriptors which I found tedious, which bloated the flow of the narrative.
The MC is a more sensitive character attuned to aesthetics but somehow unrealistic.
