Having read novels from the Prosecution, it was interesting to see crucial moments told from the other side of the Trial of the Century. While not on the same level as “Without A Doubt” by Marcia Clarke, Shapiro feels surprisingly genuine and I couldn’t stop listening. My only complaint was the shortness of the novel, leaving me wanting more. Much like his approach to speaking in court, Shapiro is concise and to the point but this break-neck speed left me spiralling off at the novels end. I enjoyed his perspective so much I was left wishing he had explored more.
